hi there!
Drop Ceiling Tiles are very popular among older homes. Chances are you’re reading this because your house has them! Our house was built in 60s and when we bought it a little under 2 years ago, the entire basement was covered in them.
We were looking for an easy way to replace them with something more modern to refresh the entire space. We could have removed all of the ceiling tiles and grid and put up a drywall / sheetrock. Going with that option would of meant we had to bring in someone specialized in this to install it.
So instead, we came across this – Drop Ceiling Tile! They had so many different designs even the one we had but we opted out in picking this tile for our ceiling. From looking at it, you would think our ceiling had some serious woodworking design. It looks gorgeous and way better than what we originally had.
Stratford Ceiling Tiles are cost-effective, easy to use decorative tiles made to fit in the existing drop ceiling grid. They are made from vinyl plastic with flexibility and durability. They come in two standard sizes: 2ft x 2ft and 2ft x 4ft. The 2×4 is the size we used and for spots where it is not the exact 2×4, you can easily cut them to fit to your need.
We are currently re-doing our basement by ourselves and during the process we decided the ceiling needs to go! Painting the room really gave it a whole new look and keeping the ceiling tiles was really something we didn’t want to do.
When I came across this product, I knew I had to give them a try! At first I ordered one pack of the tiles to test them out and see if I liked the look. When they finally arrived, I couldn’t wait to put them up. We tried putting up just one and I felt like it was definitely a game changer.
Overall, I would recommend the Ceiling tiles to anyone who is looking for a quick and easy way to transform their space. We went with the white Stratford Ceiling Tiles and we absolutely love the clean and modern look of them. It definitely helped transform our basement and we are so glad we had this alternative option we could do ourselves & save some money while doing it!
